Happy Freebie Friday!
Although we haven’t reached the middle of October yet, there have already been rumors of early snow falling before November. To all my fellow crafters who wait until the last minute (who shall henceforth be known as procraftinators) I thought I would use this Freebie Friday to help us get a jumpstart on some winter clothes for our favorite little ones. Today’s FREE PATTERN comes from Molly Goodall’s Wild Things to Sew and Wear.
Wild Things to Wear shows you how to make various animal-inspired articles of clothing for children. You’ll find traditional barnyard fashion–such as a cow dress, duck bonnet, and pony overalls–but also more exotic creations like a lion coat, leopard skirt, and koala hat (oh, my!). Each project is complete with a pattern, a list of material needed, and step-by-step instructions with pictures to guide you throughout the process. The patterns come in a variety of sizes as well as the experience level needed to sew the clothing. The bunny coat I chose for today’s Freebie Friday is a medium and at the intermediate level.
This bunny coat includes adorable ears on the hood and of course the perfect tail all rabbits–velveteen or not–need. So hop to it, crafters!
