Rained Out? Craft In!

Ruined umbrellas, soggy pants, make-up streaked faces. That was a common sight in NYC yesterday when we stepped outside. Mood dampening for some.

Not so for the crafty mind who sees a crummy weather day as a welcome opportunity (excuse) for happy craft time!

Cross-stitch and needlepoint, often narrowly associated with British blue blood drawing room ladies, and grandma on her afghan-covered wingback, are being adopted by millennials who are putting their cool contemporary spin on these crafting mediums.

And we couldn’t be more thrilled!
